Wake Forest | 6-Week Beginners Session
May 8th – June 19th**May 8th start date.** Chicago-Style Stepping is an urban partner dance that can be graceful, funky, intimate, contagious, soulful, competitive and smooth all at the same time.
This 6-week session will introduce you to the fundamentals of this dance set to the classic sounds of R&B, soul and so much more. Come and try something new with Capital City Steppers. Already taken the 1st session? We’ll keep you moving right along with hand connections, partner dancing and more.
No experience or partner required. Hard bottom shoes, low heels or dance socks highly recommended. Please avoid sneakers, as they will hinder your ability to turn (and they aren’t good for those knees.)
